Leprosy, Hansen's
disease, was noted in the Old Testament and its first victims were
the mother and sister of Moses.
There is now a cure
for leprosy, thanks to American Leprosy Missions and people who worked on
documentaries to bring it to
the attention of those who helped fund the research and discovered medication
which can cure when used in the early stages.
